Labourers Together With God

1 Cor.3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

The church is God's team on the earth to preach the Gospel of the kingdom in all the world for a witness. The goal is set by the team owner and as his teams spread out over the world we need to constantly ask the owner for direction in carrying out His desired end or goal.

If a team is 2 reach its potential, each player must be willing 2 subordinate his goals 2 the good of the team. -Bud Wilkinson

Are we willing to submitt to the plan of God in all we do or are we independently trying to be somebody in the kingdom for our own purposes?

Nobody can destroy what God builds. Nobody can shut a door He opens. The Cross of Christ is the immoveable rock in the history of the roaring seas of mankind. Atheists and rulers have announced that God was dead or about to die. He hasn’t. They have! While inscribing Christ’s gravestone with RIP a hand has been laid on their shoulder and a voice has said “I am He that was dead and behold I am alive for ever more”!

We are late comers. The torch has been passed to us from the hands of heroes, scholars, martyrs, and millions of unknown believers. They look over the cloud of glory to encourage us. We dare not fail them. REINHARD BONNKE"
