Understanding What We Have and Who We are in Christ

Hebrews 10:19-20(KJV)19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

As I read the passage above I thought on the title and asked the question: Do we understand who we are and what we have in Christ? What does it mean to have boldness to enter into the holiest. As I meditated on this my mind started to go to other places of scripture and this portion of scripture began to speak louder and louder to me concerning the fulness of what we have and who we are in Christ.

1. Because of the shed blood of Jesus we have access to all that is holy - to all that God has.
2. We have access to the presence of God - directly as individuals
3. We have the joy of the Lord.
4. We are the righteousness of God in Christ.
5. We are accepted in the beloved - highly favored of God
6. We have received both the mercy and the Grace of God actively in our lives.
7. We are blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
8. We have the compassion of Christ in healing and wholeness.
9. We have intimacy with the Lord. God's original intent was intimacy with His man.

Think on these things and be blessed as God becomes more real day by day in your life as you seek Him.
Paul puts it this way for the Ephesian believers: (and it my wish for all who read this today)

Ephesians 1:17-23(KJV)
17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Be blessed today
