AT THE FEET OF JESUS

AT THE FEET OF JESUS

Luke 8:35

I. IT IS A PLACE OF PARDON. Luke 7:38 "And (she) stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment."

II. IT IS A PLACE OF HEALING. Matthew 15:30 "And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were' lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet, and he healed them:"

III. IT IS A PLACE OF LEARNING. Luke 10:39 "And she [Martha] had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard His Word."

IV. IT IS A PLACE OF PRAYER. Mark 5:22 "And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet," 23 "And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live."

V. IT IS A PLACE OF WHOLENESS. Luke 8:35 "Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid."

Luke 8:35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

==================

Luke 10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
Luke 10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
Luke 10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
Luke 10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
Luke 10:42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
